Pettersson
Dear
Jim,
Few teachers and persons have such courage, generosity, and experience
as you. Even fewer have the ability to touch, move, and affect their
students-I would say no one-like you do. This spring has, thanks
to this class, opened up new doors for me, helped me on every level
to look at myself and life differently; I feel more alive and open.
I have among so many other things learnt to enjoy and focus on the
process rather than the results. I am so grateful to all you have
given me, it's even more special coming from Sweden where the energy
and the persistence is less. I am sure that we will see each other
again. Will keep recommending the class to anyone I know who wants
to do honest, deep, and very challenging work with themselves. Thank
you again for helping me risk and going to new places!
See you! (come to Sweden and teach!)
All the best,
Malin Pettersson

Damion
Jones
Jim,
I started living truthfully the day I interviewed with Jim. My life
feels and looks so differently since we met. I know now anything
is possible with work and persistence. I owe that change to my mentor,
Jim Bonney.

Dear
Jim,
There is no way I could put into words what you, and this class,
have done for me. I think what I am most grateful for is the encouragement
and the permission to be myself. I never got that from anywhere
in my life before, and I really, really needed it. You teach so
much more than acting…and you do it with love. How very lucky we
all are to have you.
God Bless You, Mister.

Tom
Wicus
Jim,
Thanks for teaching me to forgive myself for where my feet have
taken me yesterday-accept where thy are right now-and trust that
they're smart enough to take me into and through tomorrow. From
the fullness of my re-discovered heart, Love,
Thomas Wicus

Kenny
Lane
Jim,
It's simply not enough to thank you for putting me on a very special
journey to find out who I really am and finally whom I can "grow
up to become". But this is one of the reasons why I strive to make
it even more. To prove to myself that I can really do it, and to
show the people like yourself that your "time" was not in vain.
You've truly taught me that if I want to be interesting…I've got
to be interested.
I love you,
Kenny Lane
